We’re tough stock here on Fox Trot Farm, and we’ll be open for business this afternoon in spite of the cold. We are sold out of eggs, though. Folks stocked up on them for the coming storm-that-wasn’t. Come by if you need processed lamb, honey or soap. We’re open from 1:00-5:00 most Sunday afternoons. You can call/text me at 803-804-3541 if you have any questions. 5066 Rowell RD, Lancaster, SC. (We’re 20 minutes from Waxhaw, Monroe, and Lancaster!)
Here are some wintry scenes from the farm. After all that miserable cold rain, it’s so nice to see the sun shining and the sky blue!
Where are the bunnies???? (They are REALLY warm in their straw!)
All the trees are covered with sparkly ice, but just enough to be beautiful and not dangerous.
Oscar thinks we got this cute little rocking chair just for him.
Don’t you love all the colors in this photo? It’s definitely winter on Fox Trot Farm.
Mr. Peacock will find these pansies and have a flower salad today.
We’ve had a lot more snow in past winters, and may have more to come. Even this much is pretty. I sure am glad it’s not ice.
I took this picture early this morning before the sun came full up to melt the tiny crystalline drops of frozen rain that decorated this tree like fairy lights. I sure wish I could have truly captured the magic.
We hope you enjoy this beautiful day. If the roads are safe, come see us to get your honey, processed lamb, and hand made soap! (No farm tours today. Farmer Bob is squirrel hunting!)
