Grass Fed Lamb and Fresh Eggs from our Happy Hens

What a difference a week makes!

The sun is shining and the sky is blue, and it’s already warming up this morning. What a difference a week makes! This is what we saw when we looked out our window toward the apiary last Sunday:

And Friday, in the apiary, this:

Swarming is the way honey bees multiply their colonies…survival of the species…and what we beekeepers do is try to thwart that effort and, if we fail, then we try to catch the swarms that come from our hives. (They’re all tucked into their new home now and are happily buzzing away doing what honey bees do.)

Today is Sunday, so that means our farm market is open and ready for your visit from 1:00-5:00 this afternoon. Specials today on our own pasture raised lamb!

Pay us a visit and enjoy strolling through the farm to see our babies. We have kids and lambs….

And big fat ewes just ready to have their babies, too….

Granny Bee’s bread and cakes are made with our own honey…

Our eggs are from our happy hens and they are just $3.50/dozen or 4 dozen for $12!

We have hand made honey and beeswax soap and other spa supplies, and cozy quilts (only 2 left!).

Come take a tour at 2:00 on this sunny day. Clarence and Peanut Butter are back in the pasture close to the house and are waiting to see you, and the chickens are always happy to see our visitors with some scratch feed!

We are just 14 miles from Waxhaw, and about the same from Monroe and Lancaster, an easy Sunday drive through our beautiful countryside. 5066 Rowell RD, Lancaster, SC. Bring your cooler and stock up on our lamb!
