Roast Leg of Lamb

Fresh from the Farm for your Easter Dinner

There is no more traditional Easter dinner throughout the world than a tender leg of lamb roast, and we have plenty in stock for your family’s special celebration. If you would like to try our recipe,  you can find one HERE and another one of our favorites HERE.

One of the most delicious herbs to season your Easter roast is fresh rosemary, and we have plenty of it!
I’ll include a fragrant bunch of rosemary with each leg roast you buy.

Fox Trot Farm Leg of Lamb with Rosemary

Our leg roasts are on sale for the holiday for just $13.99/pound, and that includes the rosemary. They are from young grass fed and pastured lamb processed at a certified humane and USDA inspected facility, and range from about 3 1/5 – 5 pounds. The shanks have been removed (so the roasts will better fit in your roaster) and they are also available for purchase for $13.99/pound. They are delicious braised, and HERE‘s our favorite recipe for that.

Of course we have chops and beautiful Frenched racks, stew meat and ground, tender neck roasts, cleaned heads and meaty soup bones as well!

Come see us Sunday, April 9th to get YOUR perfect lamb roast, chop, rack, or your favorite cut for your Easter dinner. (Or call for an appointment to come during the week if you can’t make it Sunday afternoon.) Our farm market is located at 5066 Rowell RD, Lancaster, just 20 minutes or so from Monroe, Waxhaw, and Lancaster. We’re open every Sunday from 1:00-5:00 and give guided tours at 2:00. (More info on that HERE.)

Tomorrow I’ll post one of my favorite simple salad dressings that goes perfectly with our Easter lamb and, of course, that salad is made with our own farm fresh eggs! Here is a picture to tease your taste buds:
