Rosie, our little Saanen doeling, now has a new best friend, Daphne. She’s a registered Nubian and, in about a year and a half, we will be enjoying milk and cheese thanks to our dairy goats. Right now we’re just enjoying having baby goats to entertain us. They are as different as day and night. Rosie is independent and adventurous, and Daphne just wants to be cuddled. When I sit down, she jumps into my lap. That might get interesting as she grows up!

I have to pull all the little weeds out of my rock garden at the cabin chimney, but I won’t be pulling this wild violet that Mother Nature planted!
