Chesterfield has triplets! Imagine my surprise when I went out to the Back Forty yesterday morning and found our big girl with the gravelly voice caring for her brand new babies. She’s such a good momma. You can see Hobart in the background guarding his flock. Click on the picture for a closer view.

Later in the afternoon when I went back to check on all the mommas and babies, there was the beautiful top of a thunderhead filling the sky to the south. I could see the lightening streaking through the cloud from time to time. We have the most fabulous sky views from the Back Forty!
