We’re in business! The state inspector came and approved our facility and now we can legally sell our delicious lamb to the public…right off the farm, in farmers’ markets, or even ship it across state lines. We’re excited about selling what we think is the best tasting lamb in South Carolina!
Today I prepared braised lamb shanks. Oh my! I’ve shared the recipe in the “Farm Recipes” tab on the main menu here, and I’ll share the mouthwatering photo here.
This is one of our meaty, tender lamb shanks braised with white wine, herbs, and vegetables till the meat is ready to melt in your mouth and fall off the bone. The recipe is so easy! No special hard-to-find ingredients. (I like to cook with what I normally have in the pantry, don’t you?) I served this over zucchini “noodles” because I’m doing the low-carb thing, but Farmer Bob says it would be great over rice or mashed potatoes or egg noodles, too!
Check out the “Farm Market” tab for information on pricing and availability. We have our delicious lamb available right now!
