Fox Trot Farm Lamb Burger

Recently a good friend told me that she had no idea how to prepare our Fox Trot Farm lamb cuts. I say “Relax!” If you know how to cook pork or beef, then you can cook lamb. All the deliciousness of our Fox Trot Farm pasture raised lamb is due to the careful breeding and care we give our animals, so we’ve already done most of the work for you!

We’ll continue to post recipes here for you to try, but don’t be afraid to experiment with YOUR favorite recipes for beef and pork, too, just substitute our Fox Trot Farm lamb. Today we had grilled lamb burgers for lunch. I just formed the burgers, dusted them with a little onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper, then threw them on the grill and cooked them just as I do beef burgers. I was half way through my delicious burger when I remembered that I wanted to take a picture to show you. Yum!!!

  1. Had leg of lamb for Easter . It turned out great. We cooked it in the slow cooker. And the dripping from it made gravy.
