***Open Sunday afternoons beginning August 5th, from 1:00-5:00. Guided tour at 2:00.***
We’ve been busy here on the farm. It’s been so hot and dry, but humid, too. What a combination! Sounds like perfect weather for harvesting honey from our bees. Here’s our extractor, and we extracted lots of golden, delicious honey. What a sticky, tricky job!
I took some time to figure out how to make this pretty bee.
And I made a few quilts for gifts.
And then the rains began. Hallelujah!
Everything turned green again. Flowers bloomed and butterflies rejoiced!
After several weeks of not having to mow, Farmer Bob is back to work. It takes a LOT of work, too, to keep the farm looking well-groomed.
Now we have honey for sale again.
And beautiful, fresh eggs.
I’ve been busy making soap with our goats milk, honey, & beeswax.
Farmer Bob will be doing his guided tours at 2:00 on Sunday afternoons. Come feed the chickens and pick up eggs. He might even get the hay wagon out for a ride.
Cookie is waiting to greet our visitors.
Our farm is open to the public on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 till 5:00. Come enjoy our farm with us!
